- This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for fuel pumps, NSN: 2910-01-476-8668, P/N: RE505411, CAGE: 66836 U/O the 30 kW Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG) diesel engine model 4045TF151 which is U/O MEP-805B (50/60Hz), NSN: 6115-01-461-9335, and MEP-815B (400Hz), NSN: 6115-01-462-0290. The current source for the fuel pump is John Deere, CAGE 66836. Configuration drawings are not available. Detailed technical data for the manufacture of these units is not available from the Army. The pump is a high precision, high pressure injection pump specifically designed to inject the fuel into the 30 kW TQG engine. The pump must be manufactured by John Deere or the company that manufactures the pump for John Deere. Using a pump (I've never seen a second pump for a diesel engine in 30 years) from a different manufacturer would invalidate the EPA emission compliance of the engine. The engine would require emission recertification. PM-E2S2 would also require extensive qualification testing of any pumps from a different company because of the Military's use of JP-8 and other non-standard fuels. Suppliers or distributors capable of furnishing these assemblies must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRP-G, Building 6010, Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD 21005 or by email to: Brian.Kim3.civ@mail.mil and maria.s.mcalpine.civ@mail.mil and dla.apgmr@dla.mil. The response must include product lead time, price break ranges if applicable, other relative information that may impact acquisition, supply or delivery, vendor name, CAGE, address, company representative, Tel/fax#, and applicable email address. The successful supplier shall be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
