- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210. The Madison VA Medical Center, Madison WI has a need for new brand name only Stentofon AlphaCom Intercom System to replace existing equipment for the main hospital on 6A. General Requirement: Supply & Install non-plenum rated Cat6 & 18/2 intercom cabling Supply & Install Intercom field devices as requested & listed below Supply & Install Intercom head-end equipment as needed & listed below Provide final tie, programming, labeling, testing, training & warranty Intercom head-end equipment shall be located in Storage Room A6008 Intercom field devices shall use existing back-box locations where applicable The Intercom system will require 120vac power for the new head-end equipment Existing Intercom equipment will be turned over to the VA Hospital General Features Stentofon 1009601003 AlphaCom XE1 IP audio server / central exchange (1 each) Stentofon 1008001000 IP intercom master station with handset (18 each) Stentofon 10001078 IP page adapter (1 each) Bogen TPU-35B paging amplifier (1 each) Middle Atlantic PD-815R-PL surge protected power strip (1 each) Middle Atlantic SPM-4 wall mount equipment frame (1 each) This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238210 and the small business size standard is $15 million. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 10:00AM Central Standard Time on Friday, December 9, 2016.
