Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: Under Statutory Authority § 38 USC 8127-8128, the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate an out of scope modification of an existing contract with a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to add roof replacement on Building 6 at the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), North Chicago, Illinois. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program under Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7007. The replacement of the deteriorated roof will be added to an existing construction contract, VA69D-13-C-0131 (Renovation of Building 6). The NAICS code is 236220. The project range for the modification is $100,000 to $250,000. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a commitment or an obligation. The government intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with Public Law 109-461 with Seed Joint Venture, an SDVOSB concern.
