SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide Joint Commission Mock Survey Services. This will be set aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) This announcement is issued for informational planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal or announcement of a solicitation. Submitting information for this announcement is voluntary and participants will not be compensated. Perform an on-site, 24 hour (3 day) assessment with education and conclusion of findings with expertise and supervision to accomplishing a comprehensive review of the Environment of Care and Life Safety chapters of the Joint Commission as described in the Statement of Work for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Pittsburgh PA. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561320 and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. Provide an assessment of the Environment of Care (EC) and Life Safety (LS) elements of performance in the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center in VISN 4 to maintain and enhance their Joint Commission survey readiness. The service must provide 24 hours of onsite mock service. The consultant will review written records or policies, interview staff, and visually inspect each facility in the gathering of information and completion of the survey. The assessment and education services will assist our medical centers to plan, achieve and maintain as well as enhance a state of readiness for Joint Commission surveys in 2017. The on-site visit will be three days in length or twenty-four hours. The facility on site review will occur on consecutive days. Contract will run for a period of one year from the date of award. In addition to a Capability Statement which provides the above, submissions can include specifications, brochures, and manuals as attachments.
