- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term contract for FSC 1670 Lowering Line Assembly. A total of 1 NSN is targeted for this contract effort. The proposed action is intended to be awarded competitively. This solicitation is to result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 1670-01-067-6838 The proposed contract will be for a total 5 year period of performance. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The below NSN has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. NSN 1670-01-067-6838 Lowering Line Assembly Estimated Annual Demand is 8413 each. Minimum Delivery Order Quantity is 2103 each. Maximum Delivery Order Quantity is 8413 each. Maximum Contract Quantity is 67,965 each. I/A/W Drawing NR 81337 11-1-2530 Rev NR AC DTD 03/16/2004 Part Piece Number: P/N 11-1-2530-1. Full and Open Competition after exclusion of sources apply This Solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside FOB: Destination I/A: Origin This is a Life Support as well as a Critical Application Item. Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) applies to this procurement. Delivery is 120 days for the First Article Report, 45 days for Testing and Evaluation, and 128 days for the Production Quantity for a Total Delivery of 293 days. This NSN has been identified as a surge item by the government. Surge is defined as accelerated production, maintenance, and repair of selected items, and the expansion of logistic support services to meet contingencies short of a declared national emergency utilizing existing facilities and equipment. Ship to will be CONUS stock locations, as specified on the Delivery Order. This will be a competitively awarded contract and best value selection methods will be used. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD). Solicitation issue date is December 21, 2016. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP.
