- Description
- The F-35 "Lighting II" Joint Program Office intends to issue an order under Basic Agreement N0019-14-G-0020 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, TX for integration, test, and documentation of the Enhanced Paveway II (GBU-49) weapon system on F-35A aircraft, including certification evidence supporting fielding of GBU-49 on F-35A aircraft. The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded no later than 7 February 2017. The effort will be awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements, and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval dated 14 October 2014. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. This synopsis is provided for information purposes only. However, any responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
