THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide Annual Dental Water Line Testing at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC 28805. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: Specific Requirements Contractor shall provide water system safety analysis/legionella testing and risk assessment to 40 locations to identify heterotrophic bacteria. Contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise. Testing will be performed quarterly to include identification and analysis of current conditions for total heterotrophic bacteria. This work will be accomplished during regular work hours 8:00AM until 4:30PM, Monday thru Friday. Contractor will provide a three (3) day turnaround time of test results to VAMC Asheville, Facility Management Service and Safety Office. Contractor will develop and provide a summary report of findings along with data comparison to hospital industry benchmarks, notably EPA guidelines and health hazards limits to VAMC Asheville, Facility. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: December 9, 2016 4:30 PM EST. All capable Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail via email to: tiera.clark@va.gov
