- Description
- Draft Statement of Work Request for Information The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is currently conducting market research for an ongoing requirement related to armed and unarmed protective security officer services for TSA's National Capital Region facilities. Currently, TSA does not have an active or pending solicitation; only the information provided in this notice is available at this time. Under the contemplated requirement the contractor would be required to provide, manage, and maintain a trained and qualified uniformed protective security officer force twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. TSA has five facilities: three (3) in Virginia, one (1) in the District of Columbia, and one (1) in Maryland. Currently, the Government anticipates the total manpower hours for this requirement to be approximately 255,000 man-hours per year. The Government is seeking capabilities information from small business security guard firms that have the skills, knowledge, past performance and licensing in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia to perform on a contract of this scope, complexity and magnitude. For those small business firms that can meet the criteria presented in the attached draft requirements documents, please submit a maximum five (5) page capability statement outlining experience and past performance. After receipt and review of the capability statements only those small businesses who are determined qualified to meet the stated criteria will be considered for further instructions. Please submit your responses via email only to Alexander.Prater@tsa.dhs.gov and James.Loba@tsa.dhs.gov no later than 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
