- Description
- Purpose: The National Guard Bureau, Contracting Support Office, intends on awarding a contract via a total 8(a) small business set-aside, which will provide for event marketing services to the Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Command. The purpose of this request for information (RFI)/sources sought notice is to provide potential offerors advanced notice of this procurement, to gauge interest, and to receive any feedback or comments in regards to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Background: The Action Events Program's primary objective is to reach the core target demographic of 17-24 year-olds in high schools and colleges only to gather leads for the Army National Guard (ARNG) by capitalizing on their attendance at action type events. This program hosts over 300 events within high schools and colleges across the United States to include OCONUS States and US Territories. These events typically feature skateboarding and BMX shows with tricks and stunts, and are held in a gymnasium/field house environment. In addition to the show, the Action Events Program contractor utilizes a combination of onsite booth interactions, onsite advertisements, onsite recruitment promotion items, and ARNG social media sites in order to collect qualified leads and to promote the ARNG. The following is attached for reference: Action Events Draft PWS. This notice is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. Any responses to this RFI received by the Government will not be accepted to form a binding contract. This is a Request for Information and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposal and no award will be made as a result of this sources sought notice. If a solicitation is issued, the Government does not guarantee that it will be issued to RFI respondents. The Government is also requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to the RFI. Please provide a capability statement not to exceed ten (10) pages; which details relevant experience as a prime contract holder which should include: the planning and execution of marketing events; similar experience in regards to both size (dollar value) and scope; business size; applicable contract vehicles; and notice of your intent to propose on this requirement by 2:00 PM (EDT), 30 December 2016.
