Description

NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND is seeking industry written comment on DRAFT Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-490-06 ELEVATORS and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (4) addressing design and construction requirements of the Department of Defense (DOD) pertaining to elevators for facilities. Once written comments are received, an Industry Day meeting will be held in Virginia Beach, VA to foster the exchange of information between DOD and industry regarding elevator requirements. This exchange of information will allow for the continued development of UFC and Unified Facilities Guide Specification (UFGS) documents that govern this topic. See attached document for full information.
