- The 409th Contracting Office Benelux anticipates a requirement for solid waste collection and treatment services in support of the APS site in Duelmen, Germany. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 19 December 2016 with an anticipated contract award date on or about 01 March 2017. Only contractors who are registered and have an active account in the System for Award Management (SAM) may be awarded a contract as a result of the solicitation. Offerors must be certified as "Entsorgungsfachbetrieb" (waste management company) according to the German "Entsorgungsfachbetriebe-verordnung (EfBV)" (Regulation on Waste Management Companies) and act in accordance with the "Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz (KrWG)" (Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system. Contractors shall be registered in WAWF. Because this requirement is located OCONUS, FAR Part 19 does not apply, therefore this requirement will not be set aside for Small Business.
