Will you want the inside doors be refinished also? A: NO Please confirm that no work can take place between 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. Would this include cleaning work, such as washing the panels? The RFP also mentions that work is to take place from 6 to 9 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 6 pm on weekends. Can work be done after 9 pm (daily) and before 9 am (on weekends)? A: This was an error in the statement of work. Work is to be accomplished durning normal working hours, after hours or weekends. There are no restrictions other than to keep the work safe for tenants and workers. Please confirm that there is a place to leave scaffold/scissor lift during off-hours. A: They can be stored next to the builsing. See GSA Property Management for assistance. Please clarify panel and column areas. What is the approximate square footage of each panel and each column? What is the height of the column? A: The total square footage is in the scope. Panel heights are 5' X 4' 6". Column height is 41' In the photograph "front_pnl_01" there is one panel and column with a darker patina. Was this a test panel? Is this an example of the finished product? A: In the picture, this is a completed panel and finished color/look should match completed panel. How long will it take for approval after submitting a mock-up? A: The people on site at Juneau can look at it and send photos to us in Auburn so so approval can be within 24 hours assuming it's a work day and not a weekend Will bathroom, water, and power be provided to the contractor? A: Yes. Please clarify what you mean by US #10 Oxidized Patinated Finish. Can you provide a sample or description of the expected color? A: The color will be determined on site to match the previously cleaned surfaces -. The scope references a dark brown with golden highlights as well as #10 - these are guidelines. We don't expect a totally uniform appearance, both of these descriptions were to given an idea of the final look Can additional detailed, close-up views be provided showing the "pitting and organic material" as described in the RFP? A: 7 Additional photos attached. Please make sure you post any proposals for this notice on this site. I have been reassigned to a new office and after this notice closes, Heather Bowden will take over and award the contract.
