Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), Orlando, FL, intends to issue solicitation no. VA248-16-Q-1755, Dako Artisan System Maintenance Service, for the Orlando VA Medical Center, Lake Nona, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. This procurement is sole source to Dako North America Inc., as the only manufacturer authorized source for this service. The scope of this procurement is to provide preventive maintenance and repair service and parts, software and hardware upgrades to most current revisions, phone support, and response to repair calls for the following Dako equipment: Dako Artisan Link Pro EE#47944 S/NALP912020 This equipment is located at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Lake Nona Lab, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida. The manufacturer is Dako North America Inc., 6392 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013. The Daco system is a lab stainer that performs tests for infectious diseases. The period of performance will be one base 12-month period beginning on/about 1 January 2017, with four option years, plus the six month 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services clause. The type of contract will be firm-fixed price. The solicitation will be issued at the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov) on/about 12 December 2016, with quotes due 19 December 2016 and award on/about 23 December 2016. The NAICS Code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, small business size standard $20.5M. Contract award will be based upon technical and past performance acceptability, with fair and reasonable price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
