- Statement of Work Sources Sought This is NOT a request for bids, quotes, or proposal. This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice. Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), located at 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington D.C. requests information on Currency Shredder/Briquettor/Dust Collection System. See the attached Statement of Work for additional details. INTERESTED PARTIES ALSO SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), email address, ALL applicable NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large), company's socioeconomics (i.e., woman-owned, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.) and DUNS Number. 2. Identification of any applicable GSA schedule numbers and SIN categories. 3. A detailed narrative of your firm's capability to provide the equipment, installation, warranty, and training. Brochures may also be provided. 4. Estimated lead times for the desired product. 5. Place of manufacturer or origin of equipment. 6. Demonstrated capacity to deliver the required Analytical Balance: (a) prior completed projects of similar nature and (b) examples of prior completed Government, State, commercials contracts, references, and other related information. 7. Demonstrated ability to provide a factory certified technician who is knowledgeable and in compliance with any applicable warranty. Questions must be received no later than 15 December 2016, 2:00pm (EST). Responses must be received no later than 22 December 2016, 2:00pm (EST). AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXIST. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE MAY BE POSTED IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED.
