In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Services Network 16 is issuing this request for information to assess industry capabilities and identify potential competitive sources able provide preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for VA owned cancer treatment equipment. All equipment is located at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center located at 1500 Woodrow Wilson, Jackson, MS 39216. Any information submitted by and obtained from industry in response to this notice may be used in development of the final Performance Work Statement, cost estimates or terms and conditions of the actual solicitation. The anticipated NAICS code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Government is requesting industry feedback with respect to the areas listed below. The manufacturer for all Software & Equipment is Varian Trilogy Software &Hardware Support RPM Gating Software &Hardware Support Clinac HE (x2) Hardware Support MLC 80/120 (x2) Hardware Support PV 1000 Hardware Support OBI Hardware Support CBCT Treat (x2) Hardware Support SRS/SRT Hardware Support Rapid Arc Hardware Support Area RO Hardware Support Eclipse Hardware Support PV 500 Hardware Support What is your company s socio-economic status? Does your company offer these services on FSS/GSA? If yes, provide the contract number, schedule and SIN. Can your company support all equipment and software? Can your company provide technicians/engineers trained and certified by the manufacturer to work the identified equipment & associated software? What is your MTTR (mean time to repair) from receipt of initial service calls? Does your company provide support for any of the stated equipment at other VA facilities? If so, please provide contract & contact information. Does your company have a proven quality surveillance program in place for the physics component? If so, please provide a sample plan. For the equipment listed in above what is the recommended PM schedule(s) (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)? What are the projected unit costs for the service schedule identified in question 5? Do you have a sample PWS you can share? Do you have a sample QASP you can Share? Are there national service standards for this equipment? If so, what are they and what organization establishes the standards? Do you have sample or recommended evaluation criteria you can share? What are recommended industry best practices for this type of requirement?
