Description
Amendment 2 - Change of Proposal Due Date to 19 December 2016 at 12:00 PM EST This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is located at Fort Detrick, in Frederick, Maryland, approximately 60 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. USAMRAA is the contracting element of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) and provides support to the Command Headquarters and its worldwide network of laboratories and medical logistics organizations. USAMRAA also supports the Fort Detrick Garrison and its military tenant activities, Army-wide projects sponsored by the Army Surgeon General, and numerous Congressionally mandated programs. Additional information regarding Fort Detrick can be found at http://www.detrick.army.mil/. The U.S. Army Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) requires the service resources of telephone support, on-site support, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, repair, parts replacement, system software updates and user training for turn-key Audio/Visual (AV) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. The Contractor shall accomplish the assigned work by employing and utilizing qualified personnel with appropriate combinations of education, training, and experience. The Contractor shall provide the necessary resources and infrastructure to manage, perform, and administer the contract. Further information regarding specific tasks associated with this requirement is identified in the Performance Work Statement under Section 5, "Specific Tasks". Please review all the attachments provided as part of the solicitation package. Questions concerning the RFQ are due no later than 03:00 PM EST on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Questions shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Brandon Roebuck, brandon.m.roebuck.civ@mail.mil, by the due date and time. No telephone calls will be accepted. No questions shall be addressed after the due date. An Amendment to the solicitation will be submitted providing the answers to all questions concerning the solicitation received prior to the question due date. The Point-of-Contact (POC) for the delivery of the proposals is Mr. Brandon Roebuck at brandon.m.roebuck.civ@mail.mil. Proposals shall be clearly marked in the e-mail with the solicitation number, the Contract Specialist name and the Offeror's company name and address. The maximum file size for attachments in the Government email via Microsoft Outlook is 19 MB. The Offeror may send more than one email if necessary to complete the transmission of its proposal. The Offeror is responsible for ensuring receipt of the proposals by the POC. The Government will not be responsible for any lost or misdirected proposals due to failure to follow these instructions. **UPDATED 19 December 2016 ** Proposals are due by 12:00 PM EST on Monday, December 19, 2016. FAILURE OF YOUR ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO BE RECEIVED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED FOR THE RECEIPT OF OFFERS PRIOR TO THE HOUR AND DATE SPECIFIED MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER. If by virtue of this amendment you desire to change an offer already submitted, such change may be made by telegram or letter, provided each telegram or letter makes reference to the solicitation and the amendment, and is received prior to the opening hour and date specified.**
