1. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit offers for Radiation Badge monitoring services for the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle, WA. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quote number is VA260-17-Q-0083. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 541380, Testing Laboratories. 3. The intended contract period of performance is 02/01/2017 01/31/2018 with four (4) option years. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 12/14/2016, and the anticipated closing date is 12/28/2016. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
