Description

The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. NOTE: TO QUALIFY SDVOSB AND VOSB VENDORS MUST BE CERTIFIED IN THE VA VENDOR INFORMATION PAGES (VIP) DATABASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333318. Any SDVOSB or VOSB on GSA Schedule and/or Open Market firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications, performance and delivery information by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than NOON PM Central Time, December 16, 2016. Notification shall be e-mailed to Lula Hill, at lula.hill3@va.gov. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Notice. SCOPE: West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) has a requirement for nonpersonal services to provide all labor, equipment, materials and installation of deionization services (SDI) for the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) and Laboratory Service located at 300 Veterans Blvd., Big Spring, Texas. Statement of Work: The Contractor shall provide and ensure freshly regenerated portable containers/vessels containing activated carbon, ion exchange resin, or a substance of equivalent purification aptitude to the WTVAHCS. The contractor will ensure a reliable and continuous supply of ASTM International Type I and/or Type II deionized water. Contractor shall respond to user calls for tank exchange, leaks or other concerns. Contractor shall perform inspection and sterilization services a minimum of Three (3) times per year. 1.Dispensing Locations: Units will fit and function within the following listed space: Location 1: Laboratory Room 234 Must fit within 30.48cm (12 ) length X 30.48cm (12 ) width X 121.92cm (48 ) height space Room 234B Must fit within 30.48cm (12 ) length X 30.48cm (12 ) width X 60.96cm (24 ) height space. (under counter) Room 234D Must fit within 30.48cm (12 ) length X 30.48cm (12 ) width X 60.69cm (24 ) height space. (under counter) Location 2: SPS Room 212 Must fit with 91.44cm (3 ) length X 60.96cm (2 ) width X 182.88cm (6 ) height space. 2. Location Specification/Usage: Direct feed to equipment is not required. Location 1: Laboratory Type I DI water required. 10-17-gallons per month (37.85lt to 64.35lt) A minimum flow rate of 2 gallons per minute. Location 2: SPS Type II or better DI water required. 35 to 40 gallons per week (132.49lt to 151.42lt). A minimum flow rate of 2 gallons per minute. 3. Qualifications: The Contractor services shall be performed by trained and qualified personnel and performed in accordance with manufacturer s guidelines. Contractor Furnished Material: The Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, materials and equipment necessary for this service. No Government property will be provided.
