Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-16-G-0010 to Harris Corporation, 2400 Palm Bay Road, NE, Palm Bay, Florida 32905-3377 for the Fibre Channel Network Switch (FCNS) Sustainment Engineering Services. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Harris Corporation is the only company that has the knowledge, experience, and technical data required to successfully deliver the FCNS system to meet the requirements of the F/A-18E/F, EA-18G and E-2D production aircraft delivery. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Harris Corporation directly. This synopsis is not a Request for Proposals. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
