- Description
- Synopsis Upgrade Hangar Fire Suppression System project in Hangar 90032 located on Hurlburt Field, FL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work as shown on project drawings and specifications: FTEV 15-1016, to repair the fire suppression system at Hangar 90032. Remove an existing foam concentrate tank from Bldg 90036, transport it across the street, and then install it in Hangar 90032. Fill the tank with new foam concentrate. Install/Modify the associated stainless steel and carbon steel piping from the new tank location to the foam risers. Perform a complete foam system test at the hangar to demonstrate that the modifications are acceptable. Move a 400 Hertz generator out of the Electrical room 113 in Hangar 90032 and move it to Bldg 90036. Make all electrical upgrades required to make the generator operational in its new location. Add a ductless mini-split air conditioner to the Electrical room 113 in Hangar 90032. Add an intake louver, wall prop fan and unit heater to the utility room in Bldg 90036 that will house the 400 Hz generator. Modify the fire pump test header piping in Bldg 90036 to route the pipe above the door.
