- Industry Day Announcement Industry Day Flyer Industry Day for All Local Business and Contractors This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the United States Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses within Bahrain. Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (NAVSUP FLC) Bahrain is responsible for providing repair, alteration, and maintenance supplies and services for United States ships located within the Gulf Region. NAVSUP FLC - Bahrain intends to host an Industry Day to increase vendor awareness and participation for the various types of services needed by NAVSUP FLC Bahrain. The Industry Day topics will provide an overview of; logistics support, ship and voyage repair availabilities, regular overhaul and dry-docking, base and general information for contractors who are interested in doing business with the U.S Government. Large and Small Businesses, regardless of previous experience working for the United State Government, are invited to participate. The timeline for Industry Day is scheduled for the January 26, 2017, from 9AM - 3PM. The event will be held at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. Parties interested in attending the Industry Day should notify the primary and secondary points of contact listed in this notice no later than January 12, 2017. The RSVP shall include the following information in the subject line: "Fleet & Shore Support Industry Day RSVP". In the body of the email each attendee shall provide following: attendee's name, attendee's position, company's name, citizenship, e-mail address, and telephone number. NAVSUP FLC Bahrain reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from each company to ensure participation from the maximum number of companies. All questions regarding the Industry Day must be received prior to January 12, 2017. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION This notice is a "Request for Information" from all potential and prospective vendors. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
