Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor Regional Contracting Department intends to solicit a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) noncommercial requirement on a sole source basis to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation at 1000 Wright Way, Cheswick, PA 15024 for Refurbishment Services for the Secondary Propulsion System Rotational Mechanism in support of the USS NORTH CAROLINA; in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated performance period is from February 23, 2017 to August 23,2017. Curtiss-Wright is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Secondary Propulsion System (SPS) Rotational Deployment Mechanism (RDM). Curtiss-Wright is the only source that can provide the refurbishment services; and has not authorized the use of their drawings by any third party. Curtiss-Wright is a large business. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
