- Description
- Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)-owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from prospective offerors to provide support services to improve the operating reliability and efficiency of the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR). The ATR is a pressurized water test reactor located at the Advanced Test Reactor Complex at the INL. Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. BEA has determined that advanced technologies are needed to support improvements to ATR maintenance activities. One such technology is the non-intrusive on-line data collection and analysis of Resistance Temperature Detectors (detectors) and Pressure Transmitters (transmitters) used to support calibration verification and response time testing results for these devices. All detector and transmitter data for analysis will be collected by BEA at specified plant conditions and frequencies and sent to the prospective subcontractor for analysis and reporting. Subcontractor will be required to perform the following tasks: • Cross calibration analysis of detectors for calibration verification. • Loop Current Step Response data analysis of detectors for response time testing. • On-line monitoring analysis of transmitters for calibration verification. • Noise data analysis of transmitters for response time testing.
