- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this requirement will be solicited from a single source due to the urgent and compelling need of these services, to HamHed, LLC, 200 Galvan Way, New Albany, IN 47150. HamHed will provide janitorial services to three CBOCs and a VA Administration building. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The services will be performed for the Columbia VA Medical Center. The three Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) are located in Jefferson City, Osage Beach and Sedalia, Missouri. The VA Business Administration Building is located in Columbia, MO. The NAICS code is 561720 with a size standard of $18 Million. The solicitation number is VA255-17-Q-0138. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance to not exceed twelve (12) months. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT December 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement VA255-17-Q-0138, Notice of Intent. If after December 28, 2016, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with HamHed, LLC. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
