- WORK ITEM LIST SPECIFICATIONS REPAIR REQUIREMENTS Combined Synopsis/Solicitation GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Per U. S. Coast Guard "IAW REFS A AND B, I HAVE DETERMINED THAT CGC NANTUCKET REQUIRES EMERGENCY DRYDOCKING. DUE TO THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE SHAFT SEAL AND ANTICIPATED ROUGH SEA CONDITIONS DURING TRANSIT, I AM GRANTING A ONE-TIME GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION FOR REPAIRS TO BE CONDUCTED AT A SUITABLE FACILITY LOCATED WITHIN 250 NM OF ITS HOMEPORT AT ATLANTIC BEACH, NC." CAPT G. SANIAL, ACTING COMMANDER, COAST GUARD FIFTH DISTRICT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Solicitation Number HSCG80-17-Q-P45609 is being issued as a Request For uotation (RFQ) for USCGC NANTUCKET (WPB 1316)DRY DOCK REPAIRS on U.S. Coast Guard Cutter USCGC NANTUCKET (WPB 1316), an 110 Foot Patrol Boat. The vessel is home ported at ATLANTIC BEACH, NC. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ) ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND NO ADDITIONAL WRITTEN SOLICITITATION WILL BE ISSUED. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-92 dated December 19, 2016. Prospective offeror is responsible for downloading this solicitation RFQ, All File Attachments, Posted Memorandums, and any Amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps https://www.fbo.gov website for the release of any amendments. The Purchase Order will be awarded on a Firm Fixed price. This contract will be using Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 336611; 1200 employees; respectively. Quotes for this requirement described in the USCGC NANTUCKET (WPB 1316) SPECIFICATION FOR DRYDOCK REPAIRS Rev-0, Dated DECEMBER 2016. Attached postings to this requirements are due by January 4th, 2017 at 2PM (EST), to Cabin Long via email at Cabin.S.Long@USCG.MIL.
