- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award a firm fixed price indirect delivery/ indirect quantity contract to Magcanica, Inc. to provide torque meter sensings systems for the Landing Craft Air Cushions (LCAC) vehicles used by the U.S. Navy. The contractor shall provide sensor housings (Part # BALISK0GEN III-06), signal conditioning modules (Part No. SCM-AE-2CH-GENIII-07) and magnetization of shafts (ETF40B Output Shaft 53711-893-8499972) to match the sensor housing attributes. The only known company that can meet the unique needs of this application is MagCanica. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
