- Description
- The USDA Forest Service anticipates issuing a solicitation in early January for Geotechnical Drilling of 3 sites on the Umpqua National Forest. It is anticipated the contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform Core Drilling, hollow stem augering, standard penetration testing and minor laboratory services. Some traffic control, loading, patching holes in roadway/shoulder, providing samples and core for logging at the site by Forest Service Personnel and containers for samples will also be required. The locations are; Steelhead Creek, Reynolds Creek and Skeeter Creek. Work is expected to be completed within 30 days of award of the contract. Selection process for award will be Lowest Price Technically Accpetable.
