- Description
- This is not a Request for Project Proposals and/or Task Request, but for planning purposes only. A project award will not be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to announce a Task Request (TR09) and Request for Project Proposals (RPP13) for execution of project and task request awards in support of Ground Vehicle Systems research and development related to specified requirements. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (formerly the Robotics Technology Consortium), and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. In July 2014, the Government entered into an Other Transaction Agreement with one (1) consortium, the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), in support of Ground Vehicle Systems related Research and Development prototype projects. It is the intent of the Government to make one (1) award to the NAMC as a result of Task Request TR09. The NAMC will seek consortium member proposals and participation in performing specified tasks for this task request. The anticipated research area for which proposals will be sought is as follows: Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) Development. Under this task request, the VICTORY Standards Support Office (VSSO) plans to establish a team to continue developing, maintaining and extending the VICTORY architecture and standard specifications for integrating electronics systems on DoD ground vehicle platforms. The Government intends to solicit for the following project via W15QKN-14-9-1002-RPP13: (1) Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) Development. Via this RPP, the VSSO plans to establish groups of qualified Subject Matter Expert members that have technical expertise with implementation and demonstration of prototyping capabilities in support of VICTORY and will perform tasks on an as needed basis. In order to obtain more information regarding the above projects, you must be a member of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), http://www.namconsortium.com. For information regarding membership or general questions to the NAMC, contact Cindi Bousley, Membership Services Manager, at 734-995-3098 or cindib@ncms.org.
