- Pre-Solicitation Notice to solicit for a contractor to provide Ga68 Dotatate PET radiopharmaceutical for imaging neuroendocrine tumors to the VA Medical Center West Haven, CT. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order for a 15 doses. The overall goal is to meet the VA West Haven s mission requirement by transporting specific items for the hospital in a timely and professional manner for the aforementioned location in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) that will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set aside on or about 1/12/17. The applicable NAICS code is 541712 with a 500 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is 6505. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract. Netspot: Ga-68 Dotatate Scope of Work VA Connecticut Healthcare; Nuclear Medicine Service 689-17-2-7934-0005 (1) Contract needed with Advanced Accelerated Applications for the purchase and delivery of the PET radiopharmaceutical Netspot (Gallium-68 Dotatate), a radioactive diagnostic agent for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. This radioactive tracer will help locate tumors in adults with the rare condition, somatostatin receptor positive neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Ga68 Dotatate, a positron emitting analogue of somatostatin, works by binding to such receptors. Netspot provides another diagnostic tool whose results will help clinicians determine the location and extent of tumor. This information is important for planning the appropriate course of therapy. (2) Approximately (1-2) doses per month will be needed. Netspot is supplied as a sterile, single dose kit for preparation of Ga68 Dotatate injection for intravenous route. Advanced Accelerated Applications will produce Netspot and Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services, will package and deliver the individual unit dose for each patient (~$3400 per unit dose).
