Description
The Sources Sought should speak to a 2-day, 16-hour Resiliency & Functional Fitness training course that focuses on the following competencies/physical skills: Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Nutrition, Power, Speed, Workout Programming, Coordination, Agility, Balance, Accuracy, and Psychological Discipline. Functional/Compound Movements to be taught in this course shall, at a minimum, include but not be limited to squats/variations of squats, overhead presses/variations of overhead presses, deadlifts/variations of deadlifts, and cleans. The course shall include both lecture and practical sessions to ensure mastery/understanding of the functional movements ensuring attendees are able to safely perform the functional/compound movements in a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) environment. The training will culminate daily in a HIIT workout utilizing the functional/compound movements learned. The course shall be offered by trainers that have certified/certifiable training experience within a field of expertise, linked to functional fitness. ALL Trainers shall, at a minimum possess 750 verifiable hours of coaching or training groups or individuals. Hours must have been accumulated within the last 5 years. Interested sources must verify required capabilties such as the ability to produce a course schedule for the two days as well as the required certified training experience/verifiable hours of experience for all trainers as described. -or- At a minimum, ALL trainers shall possess 1,500 verifiable hours of active strength and conditioning coaching at the collegiate or professional level. Hours need to have occurred for groups or individuals during employment for a college/university or professional sports team and must have been accumulated within the last 5 years. Hours must be directly spent training athletes. Training shall be offered at a 10:1, Attendee to Trainer Ratio. There will be a maximum of 70 attendees at the course. Interested sources must verify required capabilties such as the ability to produce a course schedule for the two days as well as the required certified training experience/verifiable hours of experience for all trainers as described.
