- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Bruel & Kjaer for the purchase of a PULSE Annual Software Maintenance and Support agreements. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is already in possession of the PULSE microphone array and data systems. The PULSE System, as provided by the annual software maintenance and support agreement(s), is the front-end of the microphone array. Together, the PULSE system and the microphone array, are used for source identification (NSID) purposes to develop engineering noise controls of various mining equipment. The Annual Software Maintenance agreement for the PULSE software system is only provided by the manufacturer, Bruel & Kjaer. As such, Bruel & Kjaer hold exclusive rights to this proprietary data / system. This contract action is for supplies / services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention wishes to receive an Annual Software Maintenance and Support Agreement for the following: Items / Quantity PULSE Reflex Base, Node-Locked License / 1 PULSE Reflex Geometry, Node-Locked License / 1 PULSE Reflex Modal Analysis, Node-locked License/ 1 PULSE Reflex Advanced Modal Analysis, Node-locked License / 1 Array Acoustics Acoustic Holography, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Volume Velocity Measurement, Node-locked License / 1 SPC Viewer, Node-locked License / 1 SPC Structure-borne option, Node-locked License / 1 SPC Airborne option, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Modal Test Consultant, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Acoustic Test Consultant, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Analysis, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Time, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Array Acoustics Beamforming, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE LAN-XI and IDAe/IDA Multiple Module Front-end Driver, Node-locked License / 3 PULSE FFT&CPB Analysis, Unlimited Channel Node-locked License / 2 PULSE Order Analysis, 1-2 Channel Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Time Data Recorder, Unlimited Channel, Node-locked License / 3 PULSE Data Manager single user, Node-locked License / 2 LAN-XI Stand Alone Recorder, Single Module / 4 PULSE Reflex Base, Node-locked License / 1 PULSE Reflex Basic Processing, Node-locked License / 2 PULSE Reflex Standardized CPB Option, Node-locked License / 1 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
