- Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Full Rate Production - FA8620-18-C-2002 The Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft System (MAUAS) Division (AFLCMC/WIIK) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company in McKinney, TX for the FY17 DAS-4 MTS-B HD/TLA Production effort for the Predator/Reaper program. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. The proposed contract will include DAS-4 Turret Units and and associated Spares. Raytheon Space and Airborne System has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights to the system. Therefore, to avoid duplication of cost, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1. The FY17 requirement is listed below: Sixteen (16) AN/DAS-4, Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Model B High Definition/Target Location Accuracy (MTS-B HD/TLA) Turret Units (TU) for Aircraft Production; fifty-nine (59) DAS-4 Turret Units for Aircraft Retrofit (Option); forty (40) Image Quality Enhanced (IQE) to DAS-4 Turret Unit Upgrades (Option); associated DAS-4 Initial Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), and sub-SRU spares; Production Support; and Data, Including Earned Value Management (EVM).
