- N00164-16-G-JQ18-0005 - SOLE SOURCE - COMMON CHASSIS SIGNALS INTELLIGENCE MISSION SENSOR SPARE PARTS - FSG 58 - NAICS 334511 Anticipated Issue Date 9 JAN 2017 - Anticipated Closing Date 9 FEB 2017 - 2:00 PM EDT Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to issue a Job Order (JO) under a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-16-G-JQ18. This JO is anticipated to procure spare parts i.e.: tuner and digital receiver for the Common Chassis. The BOA JO is intended to be issued to Sierra Nevada Corporation. Acquisitions under the BOA will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition was the lack of sufficient technical data, restrictive software rights, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. As a result of this JO the overall contract ceiling for BOA N00164-16-G-JQ18 will remain unchanged. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to Sierra Nevada Corporation through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, contracting by negotiations. The anticipated contract action award date is 1 Mar 2017. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
