- Description
- Lockheed Martin, Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) is awarded a $5,541,069 Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contract for the Preliminary Design of the Advanced Off-board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) Active Mission Payload (AMP). The AOEW AMP program covers the acquisition of a long duration, active Electronic Warfare (EW) mission package to integrate with a flight vehicle as an off-board decoy. The contract includes CPIF options for Engineering and Manufacturing Development (E&MD), Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target (FPIF) options for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP), Cost only options for Travel, and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) options for Engineering Services. The contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $92,708,094. The cumulative value includes only the maximum LRIP quantity of four (4) for the Fiscal Year 2020 requirement and maximum LRIP quantity of eight (8) for the Fiscal Year 2021 requirement as well as the remaining options. Work will be performed in Liverpool, New York (82 percent) and Lansdale, Pennsylvania (18 percent) and is expected to be completed by DEC 2022. Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funding in the amount of $3,500,000 was obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with three offerors received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-17-C-5353).
