- Update to salient characteristics which identifies color of Blinds, close date change and dimensions that need to be covered by Blinds. Update to solicitation which identifies color of Blinds, close date change and dimensions that need to be covered by Blinds. Blinds will be for 11 classrooms with a total of 23 windows to be covered. Blinds will be made from knitted shade cloth with at least 70 % protection from heat and UV waves. Blinds will be manual with chain pulls for raising and lowering the blinds. Blinds will be of light natural colors (eggshell or white), all blinds should be the same color. Blinds will be horizontal. Blinds will be hung in classrooms. There is no elevator and classrooms are on second and third floors. Remove customer's existing vertical blinds and install new interior manual roller shades with choice of 3% fabric, metal hem bar, nylon bead chain and top valance. Sizes noted are dimensions of the space that needs to be covered by the Blinds.
