- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company for the procurement of four CPs: Negative Margin Resolution Section 48 Circumferential Splices, Eliminate Potential Structural Corrosion from Dissimilar Materials, Eliminate Interference Between Shroud and Sonobuoy Launch System High Pressure Pneumatic Tube, and Eliminate Hinge Problems & Cracks on MLG Doors. NAVAIR intends to negotiate and award the contract utilizing other than full and open competition pursuant to the authority at FAR 6.3032-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This effort will consist of the procurement of kits, Technical Publication updates, updated Engineering Change Proposals, and Technical Directive development for Oversize Fasteners Kit, CAD Plated Fastener Kit, Door Hinge Kit Part A, and Bolt Retention Kit Part B. The period of performance of this effort is anticipated from contract award through July 2021. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not consider any information submitted by interested parties in response to this Presolicitation notice.
