- Subject: Cabinet Interior Close Cart Case This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112 (SURGICAL AND MEDICAL INSTRUMENT MANUFACTURING) and whether or not the items requested are offered on a federal supply schedule or as an open market item. The facility is looking for small case carts to support patient care in operating rooms for transportation of soiled/sterile for RME. Suburban Surgical Company is known to meet the needs of the Government. The cabinet interior closed case carts must meet the following salient characteristics: 1. Must be made with Stainless Steel. 2. Must meet the following. Regal Closed Case Cart with a cabinet interior of 13.75CU-FT 30.000 W x 33.000 H x 24.000 D 3. Must have a recessed push handle on both ends of the cart. 4. Must have two (2) removable doors w/overlap. 5. Must have one (1) adjustable wire shelf with six (6) shelf positions. 6. Four (4) 5 Poly-Loc-Poly-Wheel plate MTD swivel casters steel nickel plated w/grease fittings and seals 2 with swivel locks MTD Diagonally. 7. Must include full wrap around bumper. Overall Size 35.250 W x 39.375 H x 27.375 W. To occupy no more than 6.70 SQ-FT Floor space 8. Must have an adjustable COURION COUPLER MTD 34.000 and Guide at 7.375 from right end of bumper (QTY 1). 9. Must have a mounted sign on the other end that states OTHER END ENTERS LIFT. 10. Cart must fit/work in the current lifts installed within SPS area. Interested VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product Business size Socioeconomic status; and If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for consideration. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is (NAICS) 339112 (SURGICAL AND MEDICAL INSTRUMENT MANUFACTURING) with a size standard of 1,000 employees- Responses are to be submitted by e-mail to Antanette.Shellaugh@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, January 13, 2017.
