- Amendment 0001 removes the requirement for Item 0002 (barrels of lubricant) and extends the response deadline. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires wire rope to operate the tainter valves on a Mississippi River lock. The contractor shall supply two (2) spools of wire rope, nominal length of 560 feet each. Wire rope shall be 1" diameter, 6x36 IWRC right regular, pre-formed, pre-stretched, ASTM Type 304 Stainless Steel, lubricated. Wire rope will be delivered FOB Destination. All testing and freight charges shall be included in the item pricing. Please do NOT quote these as separate items. Please read solicitation Statement of Work carefully for full requirements. Quotes must be accompanied by Manufacturer Information and Qualification Statements for the contractor and manufacturer. Quotes not accompanied by these documents may be excluded from consideration. Amendment 0001 removes Item 0002 (2 barrels of lubricant) from the solicitation and extends the response deadline.
