Description
The purpose of this contract is to promote adult fish passage by cooling the water in the adult fish ladder of Little Goose Dam with a government‐supplied pump (Grundfos model KWM.40".265.10.T.60.M.46 ). The pump is required to move about 25,000 GPM of cool water from a depth of approximately 80 feet below the surface and discharge about 5 feet above the surface. Piping will attach to the side of the dam in the forebay. Pump will be operating 24 hours per day, 7 days a week for approximately three months. The contractor will be responsible for supply of the diesel generator, fuel,), pump support, motor controls, shade structure for motor controls, training for operation of the pumps, maintenance, and emergency repair of all supplied equipment. The contractor will also be responsible for installing, commissioning, and removing the pumping system. The Government will be responsible for operation of the pump. This is not a solicitation. This information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Interested parties that respond to this sources sought announcement should submit the following information: (1) Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised (2) Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (3) CAGE Code and DUNS number or a copy of your System for Award Management (SAM) information (4) The category of business size (large business, small business, etc.) (5) Statement of Capability stating your certifications, skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past specialized experience and technical competence in working with similar systems, up to three (3) past projects for which your firm was the prime contractor.
