Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION. THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF SOURCES PRIOR TO ISSUING THE RFP. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The following information is provided to assist the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center “ Puget Sound (FLC-PS) in conducting market research of Industry to identify potential businesses with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to provide 6,000 gallon liquid nitrogen rental tanks and 160 liter or larger portable cryogenic tanks, with the option for larger tanks as needed. Provide liquid nitrogen tank refill including on-call support, on-site training of government personnel regarding tank operation and repair service. This is in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and IMF, Bremerton, Bangor and Everett WA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this proposed competitive procurement is 325120 (1000 employee). The contract is for a period of performance from approximately 01 April 2017 “ 01 April 2018 base year with the anticipation of four option years. The proposed contract action is for commercial supply using FAR Part 12 for which the Government intends to solicit as a Total Small Business Set Aside. The acquisition will be solicited using FAR part 13, anticipating award of a firm fixed price IDIQ contract with a base plus four option years.
