- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The EHP WNS is a trailer style enabler that is mounted on the rear of, and towed by, the Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector (VMMD) Husky. The WNS consists of two banks with two wheels and five hydraulically actuated blades per bank. The blades, which are designed to penetrate the ground, unearth, capture or interrupt the initiation circuit of any buried or surface laid command or tripwire activated improvised explosive devices. THE REQUIREMENT: Army Contracting Command-Warren intends to solicit for 346 each EHP WNS (NSN 2590-01-626-2713). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336992. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this market survey is to identify potential sources that are capable of producing EHP WNS. The planned ordering requirements are as follows: WNS FY 17 60 FY 18 89 FY 19 72 FY 20 73 FY 21 52 This is a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) to gain further insight to industry interest.
