- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking only qualified company responses in order to determine appropriate action for this acquisition. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this Notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes. Army Contracting Command - Ft. Huachuca is seeking a Contractor that can install an Intrusion Detection System to equal current JBSA Ft Sam Houston ICIDS III system. The IDS system will include magnetic door sensors, a key pad panel with main processing unit and 360 degree motion sensors. Contractor shall furnish, install, and test (two sets) door sensors; first sensor on front door and second sensor on rear door of room 009. (GE/Sentrol, part # GEC-2707AL, Sentrol BMS) - Brand Name or Equal. Contractor shall furnish, install, and test two 360 degrees motion sensor near the immediate area of entrance for each door. (GE, GEC-AP669, PIMS(OMNI)) - Brand Name or Equal. Contractor shall furnish, install, and test one key pad panel with main processing unit. (DAQ, ACU-07581-002, Interior RADC III, 12VDC, 8 PTS) - Brand Name or Equal. Contractor shall coordinate with JBSA 502d Security Forces IDS Manager for the test and configuration of the IDS system. Contractor shall connect, install, and test the IDS system to the site provided government dedicated telephone infrastructure. Contractor shall connect, install, and test the IDS system to the site provided government dedicated electrical circuit. Contractor shall furnish all necessary ancillary materials for the complete installation and testing of the IDS at this location. The contractor shall restore work areas involved to their original condition. All trash resulting from installation shall be removed. The contractor shall provide documentation and full disclosures of warranty items to include time period of coverage and how and from whom to obtain warranty services. This shall cover all items and equipment concerning warranty information. This requirement is anticipated as a 60 day Firm Fixed Price effort. This Notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought announcement.
