- Rental Car BPA The Utah National Guard (UTNG) is gathering information to determine the availability of resources that may be interested in providing vehicle rentals throughout the year as needed by various UTNG elements. The requirements for each request will be specified at the time of the request and the request will be issued from a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that will be set up by the UTNG. The UTNG is seeking car rental companies that are interested in participating in the BPA request. The BPA at this time will be for the use of vehicles that will be available in the Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Provo areas, however it may be expanded to encompass a larger area within the state at a future date if it becomes necessary. The information received will be used within the UTNG Contracting Office to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. This request for interested parties is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation to Bid, Request for Quotation, or Request for Proposal. There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this Sources Sought. This office does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or reimburse respondents for information solicited. No funds have been authorized, or appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the Contracting Office in developing its acquisition strategy. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532111 and 532112, Passenger Car Rental and Passenger Car Leasing. The anticipated type of award will be a Simplified Acquisition, Firm Fixed Price, BPA type purchase. Vendor Responses are limited to five (5) written pages (PDF or MS Word Format) and should include: Company Profile to include company name, office location(s), DUNS no., CAGE code, and Tax I.D. number, email address, and statement regarding current small/large business status (i.e.-Certified 8(a) Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOSB), or certified HUB Zone) Large Business are permitted to respond to notice. By submitting your information and showing interest in being part of the BPA process that the UTNG is in the process of setting up, the UTNG contracting office will have an opportunity to determine if your company will mesh with the BPA process, and have the necessary commercial assets required to meet our needs. The respondents may identify any unique characteristics your company possesses please feel free to identify those characteristics in your response. Respondents are encouraged to review the information requested above carefully and ensure a complete response for thorough consideration. Please note respondents are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government is only interested in receiving general capability statements at this time in order to obtain a list of eligible BPA candidates. The Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. Responses to this sources sought notice shall be submitted on or before 2:00 PM on 23 January, 2017 via email to D.
