SOURCES SOUGHT- DATA MIGRATION SERVICES This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of the market s offered products, services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Sources Sought. Only verified SDVOSBs and VOSBs in the VIP database when an offer is submitted and at the time of contract award will be considered for award and unverified firms will be considered non-responsive and ineligible for award. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their notice of ability, and their available products and services in response to the requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential of fulfilling the requirement below, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System(MVAHCS) is seeking a vendor to provide the following products and services below. Please see the General Requirements section below for the requested products/services and descriptions. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The MVAHCS is seeking vendors who can provide the following line items, brand name or equal, based on the descriptions below. All brand name or equal responses shall meet or exceed the required specifications/features. Custom.TIFF to DICOM Conversion Clinical images that are stored in.TIFF format that is stored in a unstructured database will be converted to encapsulated PDF or a DICOM secondary capture objects and a DICOM header and patient folders will be created. The newly created DICOM objects will be placed in a temporary storage location and then moved to a storage location provided by the site./R500-100 Professional Services Project Management Vendor will work directly with Customer s Project Management Team to provide project leadership, coordination and alignment of vendor resources required to achieve the defined project goals. Vendor s and Customer s Project Managers will be the only point of contact for issue resolution. Vendor will provide project status reports as needed/required. Solution Design Management Solution design management includes, but is not limited to: -Overall Project Design - Validation of proposed migration methodology, high level planning, and identification of integration and resource constraints, adherence to accepted standards / best practices, and solution integration. -Technical Leadership - Provide project technical leadership and solutions support as required. Migration Engineering Services Migration Engineering Services include, but are not limited to: -Project Set up - Installation, configuration and operational management of the migration solution. -Migration Monitoring - Monitoring and weekly reporting of the operational state of the migration process. -Fault Diagnosis - Identify and investigate migration specific faults related to the migration process. -Start/Stop Resolution - Start or stop the migration process for major events or project milestones. -Migration Solution Maintenance - Perform preventive and break/fix support of the migration solution. This includes the backup of the migration database and the migration transactional history./S500-104 Hyper Migration Upgrade Hyper Migration is available as an upgrade to a conventional Data Migration project for source systems that used media technology for storage. The Hyper strategy incorporates a Hyper Migration Appliance used to facilitate a high speed, on-site data copy "Hyper Read" from the legacy media to a spinning disk share provided by the vendor. Hyper Read is completed on site by the Vendor team and includes: All software, hardware and labor required to copy data from media and send to the Vendor provided spinning disk share. Which is a redundant spinning disk capable of storing all legacy data throughout the project. Vendor will provide a comprehensive final report for the facility including: Patient Names Patient IDs Study Dates Study UIDs Series UIDs/HYP10 Proprietary Conversion Software Image files that consist of scans of patient eyes data need to be converted from TIFF to DICOM format for the new Eye Pacs system in the Eye clinic department. VPN access is needed to perform the conversion. All migration professional services, including hardware & labor shall be included.
