Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) awarded contract N66001-17-D-0013 using other than full and open competition to procure maintenance and engineering support services for the LBS-AUV systems. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. See additional information in the attached J&A. Hydroid, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of providing maintenance and support for the LBS-AUV vehicles. Hydroid is the sole design agent, manufacturer, and maintainer of LBS-AUV systems, a proprietary Hydroid product with no authorized resellers. All hardware and software must be procured from Hydroid.
