- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to procure services and material necessary to operate and maintain all vessels assigned to the NAVSEA Inactive Ship Maintenance Office Bremerton, WA, and active vessels assigned to the CG/LSD Modernization Detachment San Diego, CA. With regard to the vessels assigned to the Inactive Ship Maintenance Offices, these services include receipt, inspection, survey, maintenance and disposal of vessels. In addition, the contractor(s) may perform structural, mechanical, and electrical modifications to vessels in support of experimental use programs, berthing vessel programs, and conversions, as specified by the program sponsor. With regard to the active vessels assigned to the CG/LSD Modernization Detachment San Diego, CA, these services include receipt, inspection, survey and maintenance. In addition, the contractor may perform structural, mechanical, and electrical repairs in support of the Modernization Program. The anticipated contract type is a single award Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. The anticipated period of performance will include a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code will be 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. A CORRECTION HAS BEEN MADE TO CHANGE THIS REQUIREMENT TO A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The solicitation is expected to be posted electronically under Solicitation No. N00024-17-R-4404 in late January 2017 at the Federal Business Opportunities website ( http://www.fbo.gov ). Please note that this is only a draft solicitation and will likely change.
