Description
PWS LRIP Rifleman Radio Sustainment This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a Request for Quotations or Proposals. The Government will not reimburse contractors or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of the market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. Any documentation provided will not be returned. All interested sources are invited to provide responses to the questionnaire. Please submit responses to the questionnaire electronically as one complete document in the questionnaire structure in a format chosen by the responder. Hardware Sustainment at the LRU level: 1. If your company is given the Technical Data Package (TDP), but not proprietary detailed manufacturing or process data, diagnostic equipment, or specialized tooling specific to the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C), can your company perform the services required by the attached Performance Work Statement for sustainment of the hardware of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C) at the LRU level? a. If yes to the question above, by what date can your company assume hardware sustainment responsibility of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C)? NOTE: Repairs of Hardware will only be at the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level. No repairs will be done by other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for repairs below the LRU, due to the Government not having Technical Data Rights at this level per Contract No. W15P7T-04-C-E405. Software: 1. If your company is given the Software release Source Code, Radio Frequency (RF) Controller, radio devices, radio services, Type 2 INFOSEC, test fixtures, tooling, software licenses, middleware, open application layer interfaces, boot loaders, but not the proprietary components of the software base necessary to make a complete software release specific to the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C), can your company perform the services required by the attached Performance Work Statement for sustainment of the software of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C)? a. If yes to the question above, by what date can your company assume software sustainment responsibility of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C)? 2. If your company is given the RF Controller, radio devices, radio services, Type 2 INFOSEC, test fixtures, tooling, software licenses, middleware, open application layer interfaces, boot loaders, but not given the Source Code or the proprietary components of the software base necessary to make a complete software release specific to the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C), can your company perform the services required by the attached Performance Work Statement for sustainment of the software of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C)? a. If yes to the question above, by what date can your company assume software sustainment responsibility of the LRIP Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-154A and AN/PRC-154C)? Please provide any questions, comments and feedback on the attached Performance Work Statement and its contents. Interested parties should submit the requested information no later than 1500 hrs EST on 13 May 2014 by email to sharon.a.peterson15.civ@mail.mil. When submitting responses please reference RFI No. W15P7T-15-C-0005-P00017 in the Subject Line. The Government does not guarantee that questions received will be answered. Do not include your company's name in your questions, as the questions and answers may be released to all interested bidders. Answers to questions may be distributed to all interested bidders unless the question is identified as propriety. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
