Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATION IN FY17 F-35 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, EIELSON AFB, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of larger construction contracts to be executed on Eielson AFB, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions." Items: 1) Best Brand 7-Pin Inter-Changeable (IC) Lock Cores and Basis G Electronic Card Readers - for the installation's master keying system. All lock cores and keyless entry systems must be compatible. 2) HVAC DDC Delta Controls - for monitoring and controlling the HVAC systems in all facilities on Base. The DDC systems in each facility must have the capability to communicate with the Base wide Delta control systems. 3) Monaco MAAPX Fire Alarm Panel - Monaco Model "BT-XM" building transceiver, which must seamlessly report to the central Monaco fire alarm receiving station. 4) Knox Box - for emergency access. In the event of an emergency, a single code may be used to access any building on base. The boxes must provide consistency, compatibility, and sustainability throughout the base. 5) Knox Caps - to prevent foreign materials from clogging the standpipe water supply and to protect the connection from unauthorized use. The caps must provide consistency, compatibility, and sustainability throughout the base. 6) Knox Vault Emergency Key Vault (Model Knox-Vault)- Emergency key storage vault. Used to securely store building access keys that may be access by the Fire Department in an emergency situation. The Fire Department must carry only one building access key to ensure quick building entry, no forced entry condition, and a timely response to an emergency. 7) Whelen Panel/Cooper Wheelock Mass Notification System (IPS-400) - to broadcast emergency messaging throughout all facilities on the base. The fire alarm and building mass notification systems in each facility must have the capability to communicate with the base wide systems. 8) Honeywell Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS)- IDS must be compatible and interoperable across the Base to ensure access to critical assets is monitored and controlled from a central IDS system. 9) Stanley Security Systems, Best Access Systems, Model (B.A.S.I.S G), electronic Card Key Access System - Electronic door lock cores and keyless entry systems must be compatible and interoperable across the Base. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of FY17 solicitations for F-35 Construction Projects on Eielson AFB, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information: (1) Identification of the manufacturer's name, address, and country of product manufacture. (2) Fully detailed specification sheets.
