Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a requirements type contract with a two year base period and three, one year option periods with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract is for the repair of 22 line items of F-18 E/F and/or EA-18G Flight Control Surfaces including: Boeing (OPXV4) HORIZONTAL STAB, P/N: 74A211001-1025, NSN 1560-01-618-3519; Boeing (OPXV4) LH IWP, P/N: 74A122002-1026, NSN 1560-01-625-2786; Boeing (OPXV4) LH TEF, P/N 74A182004-1019, NSN 1560-01-591-9728; Boeing (OPXV4) LH INNER WING, P/N: 74A110002-1047, NSN 1560-01-472-2553; Boeing (OPXV4) RH INNER WING, P/N: 74A110002-1048, NSN 1560-01-472-2558; Boeing (OPXV4) LH INNER WING, P/N: 137586-01, NSN 1560-01-631-7374; Boeing (OPXV4) RH INNER WING, P/N 137586-02, NSN 1560-01-631-7375. See the attached list for the complete list of all Flight Control Surfaces to be repaired. The government does not possess the data necessary to perform the required repairs of the items. The spare repairable assemblies to be repaired and/or modified under this agreement are set forth by manufacturers part number and constitute Government Property as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 Government Property or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Manufacture.
