Description

B600 Sources Sought Form Synopsis: 155th ARW Air National Guard Repair B600 Sources Sought. This is a Sources Sought Notice for Project No. NGCB 112003, Repair Maintenance Hangar Building 600, to determine and gain knowledge of potential small business concerns. The USPFO for Nebraska, P&C Office anticipates the solicitation and award of a Design-Bid-Build contract to construct the Repair of Building 600 at the 155th ARW Lincoln Air National Guard Base, Lincoln, Nebraska. The scope of the project includes but is not limited to major demolition, repair and renovation of the exiting brick and mortar 124,104 SF building to include interior space and building systems. The renovation shall include all new HVAC systems, controls, equipment and appurtenances as indicated, plumbing includes domestic cold and hot water, sanitary sewer, and storm system, existing below grade sanitary sewer and storm sewer piping shall be reused and modified as necessary to provide properly sized connections of new plumbing fixture locations throughout. Modification to Hangar Doors and other requirements. The Work under this contract includes all materials, labor, supervision, tools, expendable equipment, utility, permits and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of this renovation project. The project shall be registered with the USGBC and shall include LEED Silver design, registration and certification. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The Government will use a best value, source selection process to determine the successful contractor. All interested Small Business concerns need to provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a Prime contractor no later than 31 January 2017 at 1100 a.m. (CST). This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor; (2) a completed and signed sources sought information request form; (3) a listing of recent and relevant projects of similar size and type to this notice as a Prime Contractor, using performance based criteria, during the past three years, for either Government and/or private industry; include the type of project, dollar value, contract number, brief description of the constructor/designer relationship, location and Point of contact with phone number. You are required to indicate if your company was the prime or a subcontractor, and if you were a subcontractor the name of the Prime contractor and point of contact. (4) provide a brief outline of resources, subcontractors and key personnel to be used to accomplish this requirement. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available based on the responses to this notice, to provide adequate competition, the project will be advertised as unrestricted.
